Description
Collectors call the 1848 Pocket Revolver the “Baby Dragoon”. Its 31 caliber ball was certainly no match for the cavalry revolvers, but it was intended for the pocket, not a holster. At just 23 ounces, the “Baby” could be carried anywhere, and that made it the most popular Colt revolver of the 19th century, with about 350,000 made both in Hartford and London in at least 200 variations. Uberti’s reproduction of these Pocket Revolvers feature a 5-shot engraved cylinder, steel forged frame and barrel, solid walnut grip and brass backstrap.
