Description
The Uberti 1858 Remington Black Powder Revolver was created the expiration of Colt’s 1836 revolver patent. In 1858, Remington introduced a solid-frame design that was both elegant and reliable. The 1858 Remington became so famous that it was the prevailing choice of military officers following the Civil War. Its full-frame design still makes it a top choice for black powder shooters today as the cylinder can be removed without taking the firearm completely apart, unlike the Colt models. The white engraved Remington features a white heat-treated finish applied to all parts(cared for like blued steel) with photo engraving and walnut two-piece grips. Features also include a forged steel frame, brass trigger guard, octagonal barrel, and a dovetail front blade sight.
